How are you focusing on yourself?

A Woman once asked her mother:
"Mother, how will I ever find the right Man?"
Her mother replied, "Forget finding the 'Right' Man, focus on being the right Woman." And we read in the Qur'an:
"Good women are for good men and good men are for good women."
How are you focusing on yourself???

This is actually a post from Facebook page of Productive Muslims. It knocks my mind this morning. I am thinking just like the woman in the story. And now I mean starting from today, Insha Allah, I will look with different perspective. There is a good question here for us to ponder; How are you focusing on yourself?

May Allah guide us to the right path each and every single day.

Something Had Happened

 4 things that I discovered today;

1) Simple but yet very wise quote:

Don’t rely on someone else for your happiness or to validate your self worth. Only you can be responsible for these things. If you can’t love and respect yourself - you can’t expect someone else to make it happen. Accept who you are - completely; the good and the bad - and make changes when you want to, not because you think someone else wants you to be different.

2) Ya ALLAH, save me and protect me from forgetting akhirah. Amin ya Rabb!

Dari Tsauban r.a : Rasulullah saw bersabda, “Hampir tiba suatu masa di mana bangsa-bangsa dari seluruh dunia akan datang mengemuruni kamu (umat Islam) bagaikan orang-orang yang hendak makan mengerumuni talam hidangan mereka.”

Maka salah seorang sahabat bertanya, ‘Apakah dari kerana (bilangan) kami sedikit pada hari itu?’ Nabi saw menjawab, “Bahkan kamu pada hari itu banyak (ramai) sekali, tetapi kamu umpama buih di waktu banjir dan Allah akan mencabut rasa gerun terhadap kamu dari hati musuh-musuh kamu; dan Allah akan mencampakkan ke dalam hati kamu penyakit ‘wahan’.”

Seorang sahabat bertanya, ‘Apakah wahan itu hai Rasulullah?’ Nabi saw menjawab, “Cinta pada dunia dan takut pada mati.” [Riwayat Abu Daud]

 3) I got homework! Yippee! At least, this is how to build a productive me.

 4) Blessing from ALLAH. My brother will give me something to kick start the next phase of life. Alhamdulillah!

What a great giveaway from Irine! 

Yes, I am participating in this contest. But if I were to be selected as the lucky one (insya ALLAH), the MIRACLE TAB is not for me. I think of my good friend when it comes to skin solution. Let me share how I met her!

I was the technical support somewhat like contractor to this department. She was quite new at the time I started work in the department. So, we were both in the phase of getting to know people. Alhamdulillah, we became close each day. We have the chemistry! She is so generous - treat me with Japanese food dinner at least 2 times, snacks usually 'pau kaya' from the convenient store, Aunty Anne's pretzels, hazelnut ice blended from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf! Much more from her actually. She even listened to my problem as I was in the dark phase of my life though she has a lot of works. 

One day, when I was getting done my daily report, she dropped by. I couldn't see anything from her face yet. But, when she started to story the situation that she just had, I felt sorry and I just afford to give a moral support. She was crying as a stranger asked about her skin. The purpose of this stranger is just to sell a skin product. But the way this stranger approach definitely hurt her feeling. That was just not the catalyst to her breakdown. Her mom made a comment about her skin and she felt bad. And even our Kakak in the department expressed her thought about my friend's skin loudly. 

I can't express how is my feeling when I write this entry. She has been a good friend to me! I remember when she made me choose my birthday present. I didn't know that it was for me. She told that she needs my help in choosing a gift for her friend. I could not be more grateful to have this amazing friend!

Since Irine said Miracle Tab is a good product, I hope this can be a great gift for my friend! May this gift becomes the solution to my friend's problem. I should not be too excited as there are a lot of participants. But, if I win this giveaway, I'll straightly meet my girlfriend and convince her to give it a shot. 

p/s: She is quite bolshie that's why I need to convince her or else I'll just ask Irine to do the talking! =P

Blogging Kickoff With 3f's Contest

Hi, there!

I don't know to whom should I greet since I don't have any followers. It's kind of funny and embarrassing to write a first blog entry and suddenly join a contest! But, who cares, right?  I have browsed through the 3f's blog and I think I have so much to see, read and inspire (especially the HWF,seriously!). So, to be honest the most interesting entry is this one :

3f's contest: maysaa scarf to grab

I'm lying to everyone if I say I don't have any intentions to win the scarf =)). Plus, I just start blogging!But, the important thing that I wish to highlight here is the INSPIRATION! I have such a terrible and misery experience with my relationship. I was left alone without explanation. I'll cry until now if I suddenly feel being cheated and so naive.

Enough with these crappy things! I wish I can just forget all these stupid things!

BUT, THIS IS LIFE, right? We'll encounter with so many things that we don't even expect. The INSPIRATION that I said just now comes from the appearance. I believe a great self-esteem is from a very confident appearance. I'm doing my best at the moment to get myself happy especially with clothing, bags, shoes, accessories, makeup..... (the list will never end! since there're so much things to get us happy, kan?) and tune my mind for a better future. With this maysaa scarf, I think I can add up the 'spice and herbs' to my appearance =)). In fact, I got so many ideas from Sis Ajjah to create a new look for a brand new me!!! This is just the beginning. Sooo much to learn from expert.. =)) 

See below! I'm just an ordinary girl. I am on my way to be EXTRA ordinary!! HOW?  I've stated in the above but that's just part of it. The other part? Let me keep it to myself until I success. Wish me luck~

 



Life isn't cruel. = Happy, piss of, sad, giggle, cry, drool = Learn everything along the way and you can be the best!
